Detail: The Space Coast was recently chosen to welcome a novel showcase of wine, food, and jazz music. “A Taste of the Space Coast!” will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 Hibiscus Blvd. Melbourne, Florida 32901.

This special event will feature a celebration of wines from all over the world, as well as a showcase for restaurants, specialty food service providers, and caterers. There will also be opportunities for select non-food vendors to market their goods and services.

“Delicious food has always been one of the greatest appeals for the exhibition; yet, more and more people have become interested in culinary events that also feature fine wines,” states Vel Johnson, communications consultant for the well-flavored event.

This occasion will also include live jazz music featuring the phenomenal Florida vocalist, “Ryan!”

“A Taste of the Space Coast!” will also include vendors with samples of healthier products and foods created from recipes lower in fat, carbs, and sodium. With local personalities as judges, there will be a special Chefs’ Challenge in a selected category with top honors awarded to the winner for “Best of Show.”

Brevard County was selected because of its diverse communities and growth for businesses with a special event such as this.

“We believe that placing “A Taste of the Space Coast!” in the area can become a springboard for participating companies to enhance their brands while increasing their market share,” further states Johnson.

With a limited number of tickets available ($65.00), attendees can expect a delightful afternoon that will become the talk of the town for years to come. Guests must be 21 years of age or older for entry into the event.
