Billboard.com is reporting that on Thursday, January 20th, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cher[/lastfm] will once again have a song hit the #1 spot on the Billboard charts, making her the only artist to have ever had a #1 song in six consecutive decades.
You Haven’t Seen The Last Of Me couldn’t be a more appropriate title for Cher’s latest chart topping triumph, as the song from Burlesque which earned songwriter [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Diane Warren[/lastfm] a Golden Globe award on Sunday night, will hit the #1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart.
In typical fashion, Cher had this to say to Billboard:
How can it be six decades when I’m only four decades?”
Here is the complete list of #1 songs for Cher:
1960′s
I Got You Babe (with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sonny Bono[/lastfm])
1970′s
Gypsys, Tramps and Thieves
Dark Lady
Half-Breed
All I Ever Need Is You (with Sonny Bono)
1980′s
After All (with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Peter Cetera[/lastfm])
If I Could Turn Back Time

2000′s
