People Magazine unveiled their “Most Beautiful”  issue yesterday.  Gracing the cover is 41-year-old American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez with the caption, “World’s Most Beautiful Woman”.  REALLY?!

According to a story in PopEater.com J-Lo says that she prefers to be makeup free and low maintenance.  “That’s when I’m my happiest,” Lopez explains. “Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It’s so much better.”

Interestingly though, NewMovieReleasesDVD.com reports that just a year ago in Monaco at the World Music Awards, the “diva” — demanded a list of items that would have made your stomach turn.  She layed down the law for her to perform with a list of ‘necessities’ prior to her hitting the stage — including a $5,000 set of diamond headphones, as well as a helicopter with pilot ‘on stand-by’.  She insisted on a custom-fitted speed boat with love seat, faux leather seats and a champagne fridge.  Also a pair of $5,000 diamond-encrusted headphones to keep the noise of the boat’s motor down,” a stage hand told London’s The Mirror.

On arrival, Jen also demanded an on-call masseuse, a 12-man strong hair and makeup team, a hotel floor to herself and a stretch of private beach (so as not to be disturbed by fans).  But when she was asked if she needed a private butler, Jen said she was more than capable of doing things for herself.  Yeah, right!

When talking to People Magazine Jen said, “I don’t want anybody thinking it’s easy [to look good]. It does take time and it’s hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody’s friend!” she adds.  Obviously it’s NOT easy…that’s why she usually demands a crew of people to pamper her.

The singer, actress, American Idol judge admits that she accepts the ”diva” label she’s been given. “I kind of like it. We’ve kind of owned it now. But I certainly don’t like and I’ve never been a person who has what they call ‘diva behavior,’ which is something they tried to pin on me for a long time.”   REALLY?!  We hadn’t noticed.

Other ladies on the list are, movie actress and newlywed Reese Witherspoon, singers/actresses Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Hudson, and Mandy Moore, Katie Holmes, ABC television”s Body Of Proof star Dana Delany and Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria, Ellie Kemper & Mindy Kaling from NBC’s The Office, movie actress Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence from The Bill Engvall Show are also represented.

Also selected as “Most Beautiful” by People Magazine: Teen heartthrob and High School Musical’s Zac Efron, and from the Twight Series – Kellan Lutz, and star of the upcoming Green Lantern film Ryan Reynolds.
