After over two years, President Barack Hussein Obama decided to finally release his birth certificate to the American people.  Many of us thought, “why won’t he release it?”.  Donald Trump implied that there may be something on it that the President didn’t want us to see.  So, why did it take so long.

One would think that when you apply for a job, and are asked to provide proof of citizenship or legal residence that it would be “no big deal” to see the same from our Commander-in-Chief.

However, in spite of the fact that it is required by law to share the information with the Federal Government, it seemed that no one else would ever be allowed to see if our President could legally serve or not.

That changed last week when Barack Obama decided to suddenly provide a copy of his Hawaiian birth certificate to everyone at an impromptu press conference where Mr. Obama refered to the issue as a “distraction” when we have more important issues at hand.

So, why did it take this long to see the President’s birth certificate?  Why wouldn’t he release it to the general public, his constituents?  He addressed those issues when he appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show last week.  Apparently, one of the “more important” things that needed to be handled.
