Filming began two and a half months ago in early May with a budget of $250 million, so you can expect (and probably already have) a big production. Don’t expect any 3-D though…however, producer Christopher Nolan will be using the IMAX process in a majority of the movie to increase quality and scale.
No need to hurry to get in line though. Filming doesn’t even wrap up until November of this year and “Batman: Dark Knight Rises” is scheduled for release on July 20, 2012.
If you saw Harry Potter this past weekend during the premier weekend, you may have seen the “Batman: Dark Knight Rises” trailer since it was debuted then. However, if you didn’t get your look at it…see it now!
The film is scheduled for release in the United States and Canada on July 20, 2012.
