As the 10th anniversary of 9/11 approaches, we want to take the time to thank the men and women from the Central Florida area who have helped keep us safe since the terrorist attacks. Today, we feature Soldier Salutes from Nettie of Daytona Beach and Aimee of Deltona.

From Nettie of Daytona Beach:

Thank you for your sacrifices. Having a son in the Navy, I am well aware of all that is given up to protect our freedoms. I would never be able to repay the debt that I owe to everyone that serves. I just hope that my appreciation will suffice.

From Aimee of Deltona:

I would like to thank both my son and my daughter, Spc. S. Hunt and Pfc. R. Hunt of the United States Army!!!! You come from an impressive list of military members, including Admiral Farragut, many thanks for defending our freedom.
