[photogallerylink id=36235 align=left] [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bob Dylan[/lastfm] has taken up the bagpipes. Reuters reports, while in Glasgow, the 70-year-old singer sent a representative to pick up a set of traditional Scottish pipes from a local shop.

Dylan went with a nice set of R.G. Hardie pipes (which start at around $865), a chanter and a learning manual.

Personally, I think it would have been more “folk-rock” of him had he scoped out YouTube and made his own pipes from items around the house!
