Looking for something else to do over the holidays aside from the parties, the shopping, and the gift-wrapping? With special holiday-themed laser shows and science camps for the kids while they’re out of school, the Orlando Science Center is ready to help you get into the spirit of the holiday season! Who says that science education can’t be a part of celebrating the holidays?
SUNNY Across Central Florida host Felix Albuerne spoke to Jeff Stanford from the Orlando Science Center about OSC’s upcoming slate of holiday programming. In particular, Jeff talked about the challenge of creating holiday programming that still incorporates and works within the Science Center’s focus on science education for all ages and audiences. Jeff also talked about two phenomenally-successful exhibits coming to a close at the end of the year at the Science Center, “Harry’s Big Adventure” and “Guitar: The Instrument That Rocked The World“, previewed what guests can expect to experience at the holiday laser shows in the Cinedome, and described what the Holiday Science Camps would be like for the kids.
