Rock of Ages, the jukebox musical which uses the music of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Journey[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Foreigner[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Joan Jett[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Twisted Sister[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Starship[/lastfm]and more, became a smash hit when it landed on Broadway in 2009 and it’s now set to rock movie screens this coming summer.  Judging by the just-released trailer, the film adaptation looks to be a fun and funny trip back to the 80′s.

The star studded musical featuring Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, Julianne Hough, Russel Brand and newcomer Diego Boneta, hits theaters on June 1st, 2012.
