[photogallerylink id=56841 align=left]When it comes to an upcoming biopic of his life, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Elton John[/lastfm] has already decided that his first choice for a celluloid version of himself would be former [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]‘N Sync[/lastfm] member and SNL favorite [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Timberlake[/lastfm].
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Sir Elton opened up about the movie (currently titled Rocketman), which will be scripted by Billy Elliott scribe Lee Hall. When asked about casting, he said:
No. 1 on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of “Rocket Man” and was superb.
We don’t want to quibble with Sir Elton or the LA Times, but actually the video which featured Timberlake as Elton John was for This Train Don’t Stop There Anymore from 2003. And he definitely does know how to do a great Elton!
