The idea for the book came from John wondering why more isn’t being done today to cure the condition.
“Why are we not doing more?,” Sir Elton said while talking about the book to media outlets. “This is a question I have thought deeply about, and wish to answer – and to help change – by writing this book.”
The book will be published by Hodder & Stoughton, and will be released in print and in audiobook format, with Sir Elton reading. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF).
