Parrot Heads of Central Florida is hosting their 4th Annual Fruitcakes in the Alley Bowling Tournament to benefit the Arthritis Foundation on behalf of Kids With Arthritis starting at 3pm on Friday, January 27th, at the AMF Altamonte Lanes. It’s three days of bowling, food, Trop Rock, and fun for a great cause, which is what the Parrot Heads, who make it their mission to “party with a purpose”, are all about!
SUNNY Across Central Florida host Felix Albuerne spoke to Lisa and George Schott, the president and “first dude” of Parrot Heads of Central Florida, about the upcoming bowling event and the organization’s other community service projects. In particular, Lisa and George discussed how the Parrot Heads are more than just a “Jimmy Buffett” fan club in the sense that Parrot Heads “phlock” together in order to better their communities through organizing donation drives, 5Ks, beach and highway clean-ups, and much more.
