The Super Bowl is this Sunday and whether you’re a huge fan of the NFL or you don’t know who is playing in the game, you’ll probably find yourself in front of the tube with friends and family this weekend staring at the game. If you are looking forward more to the commercials than the game, we thought we’d put together a guide to help you get through the pain of all the game play on Sunday.

This year is Super Bowl XLVI. Those letters are called Roman numerals. They mean 46.

(That trophy goes to the winner of the game. It’s called the Lombardi Trophy. It’s named for Vince Lombardi. He was a football coach.)
