Yesterday, Paco told you about the arrest of country singer Randy Travis in Denton, Texas for public intoxication after being discovered by police yesterday morning outside of a church slurring and stumbling with an open bottle of wine.  Travis has now come forth with his version of the events, and guess what?  The Super Bowl made him do it!

Travis told The Wrap:

I apologize for what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl. I’m committed to being responsible and accountable, and apologize for my actions.

One can only assume that he must have been a Patriots fan.  Travis, who is probably best known for his hit Forever and Ever Amen, is currently touring in celebration of 25 years in the music industry.
