Here’s a lesson to anyone who wants to reach out to a celebrity on YouTube: Do your homework! You’d think a student attending Florida State (which is no slouch in the admissions requirements department) would know all about doing homework, but apparently this VERY attractive Kappa Delta girl desiring a date with New York Knicks point guard phenom Jeremy Lin for her sorority formal isn’t really big on studying up your target …

First, just hit “Play” and see what she has to say – it’s not like she’s hard on the eyes or anything:

Now, for those who aren’t seeing the problem:

1. His name is Jeremy Lin, not “Jerry Linn”;
2. He plays BASKETBALL for the New York Knicks, not football for the New York Giants, so he most certainly hasn’t won a Super Bowl lately; and finally …
3. He’s Asian, not Black.

So, “Angie”, if you’re reading this, not to say anything or anything, but you might want to do some checking on this thing on the interwebs called GOOGLE before you put something on YouTube that will make you a campus-wide joke for at least a weekend (and you know FSU has a BIG campus).

AND, hey, Jeremy Lin will be here in Orlando for the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge going on at the NBA All-Star Jam Session, so maybe you want to come down from Tallahassee that weekend to ask him out in person? Worst that can happen is that he says “No”, in which case, any one of us here at SUNNY would be more than happy to go with you to the Formal. Just putting that out there for you.
