You Can Lead WWE Wrestlers To Class, But You Can’t Make Them Dance
They say you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink. Well, it’s kind of like that with professional wrestlers. You can lead a wrestler to a Zumba class, but you can’t make them dance. As you can see in the video from TMZ.com.
Professional wrestlers are known for their agility, regardless of their size. They fly off the top ring rope, flip, somersault, dive headfirst, jump in and out of the ring over the top rope…but…can they dance…not so much.
TMZ got their hands on a video of several professional wrestlers who decided to try their hand at a Zumba (exercise dance) class, only to find out it’s not as easy as they may have thought it would be.
The WWE icons included “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Hillbilly Jim, Pat Patterson, “Mean” Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, and Tony Atlas.
You’ll be amazed at how many left feet were in the room at the same time in this Palm Springs, California gym.
Why put yourself through the embarrassment and humiliation, especially when you know you’re in front of cameras? How about for a wrestling reality TV show?!
Though the WWE says they don’t have a home for the show just yet…you just KNOW Vince McMahon (WWE Chairman and CEO) will find a place to showcase his talent(less) wrestlers.
Sources close to the project say it may be on the very cable network the WWE hopes to launch soon.
