Ladies and gentlemen, the B!#©% is Back.
Sir Elton John is taking shots at Madonna … again. Last time around, it was him and his partner being sore losers at the Golden Globes after losing out to the Material Girl in the “Best Original Song” category. This time, Sir Elton tore into her on his own during an interview that aired on Australian TV last Sunday night, declaring her career “over”, her tour a “disaster”, and her current on-stage appearance as reminiscent of a “fairground stripper”, whatever that means.
Honestly, is he just jealous that he’s not aging as well as she is? In any case, apparently he’s so intent upon letting everyone know how he feels about Madonna that he’s changed up the lyrics to his classic ode to Marilyn Monroe, “Candle in the Wind.” Click the “play” button below to hear the “new” version:
(Yes, this is a parody.)
