It’s been 35 years since George Lucas’ Star Wars burst onto the pop culture landscape, but it still appears to hold the same magic spell that made the film and its sequels capture the imaginations of the nation.
Locally, we’ve been witness to the ongoing Star Wars phenomenon with this summer’s Star Wars Celebration VI held at the Orange County Convention Center in August, and most recently the Galactic Encounter Day at the Orange County Regional History Center.
And now, as further proof that Star Wars is still making a “force”-ful impact on future generations, comes this viral video demonstrating the calming results that John William’s legendary theme music has on a bawling infant. Maybe it would be good music to have in one of those wind-up musical mobiles above a baby’s crib!
