Classic hits artists are slowly joining the Twittersphere, and the latest to jump aboard the social network is Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.
While there are many fakes out there (several previous accounts bearing Wood’s name were never verified nor officially acknowledged by the Stones official account and the account for his radio show was not actually run by him), Wood assured everyone via a photo that the account @RonaldDavidWood was actually him, even though the account has yet to be officially verified by Twitter.
Wood joins fellow Stones band mates Mick Jagger (@MickJagger) and Keith Richards (@officialKeef) who are already Twitter members, as well as the band’s official account, @RollingStones, who welcomed Wood to the fold with a call for video requests.
In honour of @RonaldDavidWood joining Twitter tweet us your Ronnie video requests! Here's HEY NEGRITA to start you up: youtube.com/watch?v=yaCYoC…—
