Q: On this date in 1982, John Belushi died of a drug overdose in the Chateau Marmont Hotel in L.A. The cause of death, according to forensic pathologists, was a speedball — the combined injection of cocaine and heroin. Two months after his death, an interview published in the National Enquirer revealed that someone else had injected Belushi with the fatal overdose. That person was extradited from Canada to L.A. and subsequently arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Eventually, the charge was dropped to involuntary manslaughter as part of a plea bargain, and the accused served a 15-month prison sentence. Name the woman who was charged with and served prison time for her roled in the death of John Belushi.
