On this day in 1987 Paul Simon, the musician, and Paul Simon, the U.S. Senator and presidential candidate, hosted “Saturday Night Live” together.
“Titanic” opened in movie theaters on this day in 1997. It was the first movie to ever reach the 1 billion mark in box office receipts. The soundtrack sold over 30 million copies.
We jump to this day in 2001 when Madonna appeared on the T.V. show “Dateline.”
In 2006 Eminem and his wife Kimberly divorced for a second time, less than a year after they had remarried. The two agreed to share custody of their 10-year-old daughter, Hailie.
