On this day in 1973 Pink Floyd completed their recording of the album “Dark Side Of The Moon.”

The group Bad Company was officially formed on this day in 1974, when Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke of Free got together with Mott the Hoople’s Mick Ralphs, and King Crimson’s Boz Burrell.

Neil Sedaka received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on this day in 1978.

On this day in 1983 “Down Under” by Men at Work was the #1 song.

Steve Winwood married Eugenia “Jeannie” Grafton on this day in 1987. They have four children.

And it was just last year, on this day, that we lost Glenn Frey. He died of complications from surgery and a host of ailments at age 67. He had been hospitalized for more than two months.
