For the longest time, Rick Stacy teased Smoke Stack endlessly about his “creepy old” 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette van. Now there is a new target.
Smoke Stack recently acquired a “new ride,” and best of all, it was FREE!
Smoke Stack will now be cruising around in his not-exactly-new-but-new-to-him 1998 Buick Park Avenue. And as you watch his guided tour of the vehicle, you will find that it has some very impressive features!
“Keyless entry, gorgeous cracked leather seating, and who can resist that beautiful polished, plastic, wood finish,” Smoke Stack brags, adding, “now the steering wheel’s kind of sticky from age, but it’s not too bad. A little duct tape keeping the seat together. A spacious backseat, not really big enough for anything important, but cool nonetheless.”
He then gets behind the wheel to further examine his new car.
“Power everything. Let’s hear that baby purr,” he says as he starts the car. “Now the gas gauge IS broken, but I can check it with how many gallons of fuel I’ve used, so as long as you do a little math you’re okay.”
He then gets into the vehicle’s many amenities. “Fantastic stereo, tape AND compact disc. These are very expensive,” he boasts. “Ashtrays and cigarette lighters in every door.” And the aroma? “It has a delightful old person’s smell!”
But how does it ride? “Mmmm. What a smooth riding vehicle that is. It’s rather like driving a boat,” Smoke Stack admitted. “But ya know, on land and slightly more clunky. The Buick Park Avenue…a gorgeous ride, ya know…for the most part.”
