It has been over a month since the SuperBowl and the only reason people not from New England are still talking about it has to do with Tom Brady’s stolen jersey.
The missing jersey was found in Mexico and traced to a newspaper editor who had credentials for the event.
According to ESPN, the jersey was found with the help of the FBI, Houston police, Mexican authorities and the league. Seems like a lot of efforts to recover a jersey…but then again the jersey is worth $800,000.
“I am happy my jerseys from SB 49 and SB 51 have been recovered, and I want to thank all of the law enforcement agencies involved,” Brady said. “I know they worked hard on this case – and it is very much appreciated. Hopefully when I get the jerseys back I can make something very positive come from this experience.”
