A 650-year-old Oak tree in Poland has been named European Tree of the Year.
Not only is this tree beautiful but it has a pretty cool story as well. According to historians, this tree served as a hideout for two Jewish brothers hiding from the Nazi’s during World War II.
Some of the other trees in the competition included a 500-year-old Brimmon Oak in Wales and an 800-year-old lime tree from the Czech Republic.
