Students Fly Egg 96,000 Feet In The Air To Study Atmosphere

By Grace Vasquez

It’s always fun to see kids excited about their science projects and here’s another one!

It’s their annual science event and this year the students from Key Peninsula Middle School were studying the atmosphere by launching an egg!

“We took an egg, drew a crazy face on it, and launched it with a simple thermometer. We like to keep kids engaged,” said Richard Miller, the science teacher behind this experiment.

The video is so cute and the expression on the egg is priceless! Enjoy! ~grace
