Special Olympics Florida Provides Sports And Social Skills Training

The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training as well as social, life and leadership skill development for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Founded in 1972, Special Olympics Florida is one of the largest volunteer-driven athletic organizations in the state currently serving more than 38,000 athletes in Florida including 2,900 athletes throughout Orange County.

CEO Sherry Wheelock talked about Special Olympics Florida on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
