By Michael Rafferty

The Second Harvest Food Bank’s Summer Food Service Program is feeding children in low-income areas who are home for the summer and are no longer receiving free or reduced-priceed meals at school. Since the program began in 2008, Second Harvest has provided more than 390,000 summer meals to kids in our community.

Sasha Hausman, Director of Philanthropy for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, talked about the Summer Food Service Program on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
