Tim Tebow Shakes Autistic Boys Hand; Hits Home Run

By Grace Vasquez

Tim Tebow, how can you not love this guy? He is the genuine thing.

During a St. Lucie Mets game against the Charlotte Stone Crabs, Tebow made a young fan’s day after they shook hands. Tebow was on-deck during the July 29 game when Seth Bosch, a young boy with high-functioning autism who just turned 10, with his mom’s encouragement Seth went to try and get Tebow”s attention. And he did. Not only did he get Tebow’s attention, Tebow shook Seth’s hand and Seth so emotional he began to cry.

And if that wasn’t enough, Tebow,  then went up to the plate and hit a three-run home run moments later.

“When Seth came back to his seat, he was crying,” Seth Bosch’s mother Ileanna told the Tampa Bay Times. “And then Tim hit the homer. I started crying, too. How does that happen? I think God brought Seth and Tim together.”

After the game, Tebow and Seth met again where Ileanna took photos of the two together.
