On the one year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings, Aerosmith is paying tribute to their hometown.
Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry have convened for a new take on the band’s classic hit “Dream On,” this time for a good cause.
It’s kicking off July 10 in New York.
There’s been no official announcement but Joe Perry and Slash both spilled the beans on Twitter.
Tyler also discussed his more immediate plans: “I’m going to Italy with my son on Sunday to do my motorcycle line, Dirico,” referring to the motorcycle company he’s involved with. “Then I’m jumping on a plane to Moscow to be a judge for Miss Universe,” he said, noting, “Somebody’s gotta do it!”
Born in Lawrence, Mass., Mrs. Perry graduated from Boston University and earned her Master’s degree in Physical Education from Springfield College. She served as head of the physical education department in Hopedale and coached varsity sports for more than 25 years.
